We have been asked by a local company DDL Civils to look at the roadway into the RAF Camp at Scampton

This is where the Red Arrows are based so it’s a very busy and prestige Air force base. We meet with the base commander and various other RAF personal.

The works involved planing out 2500m² of roadway next to the gate house and a small area of footpath, With the time scale the RAF had, we had to plane out on the Friday in one day and lay the new material on the Saturday

The Jordan gangs worked like the Red Arrows with speed and precision the only thing missing was the red and white vapour trail coming out of the surfacing machine. The gangs worked all through the day with out any disruption from the day to day running of the RAF Base.
