The new £9.4m Newark Sports and Fitness Centre opening on 25th April.

Jordan Road Surfacing won the tender with fierce competition from other to surface the roadway, car park area and footpaths for the new leisure centre which R G Carter Building Ltd built.

We were very pleased to win these works as one of the biggest projects in Newark 2015/2016.

Doors to the state-of-the-art centre opened at 6.30am on 25th April with customers able to try out the new facilities at the site off Bowbridge Road, with the official opening 20th May.
