Leicestershire County Council Bridge Joint Repairs

We where asked by Leicestershire County Council of we could do a lasting temporary repair to the failed bridge joints A6 between Loughborough and Leicester as all the traditional temporary solution’s where failing straight the way due to the vast depth of the bridge joints. We used polystyrene to fill the joints and topped it of with expanding foam to fill the voids and also to stop the heat melting the polystyrene. We topped them of with our Paco Patch material for a long standing repair until the joints can be replaced.

Burley’s Flyover Leicester City Centre

As Part of our on going contract with Leicester city highways. This job involved doing large patching works on burleys flyover in Leicester city centre. we where task with planing out and relaying 80tonnes of HRA and chips on a Sunday morning. Along with the patching works we where also asked to do some paco patch repairs to cracks on the bridge deck and also around various iron works.
